As Jigawa State marks 35 years of its creation, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has joins the government and good people of the state in celebrating this remarkable milestone.
The Jigawa State Director of the Agency, Mallam Ahmed Tijjani Ibrahim, congratulates Governor Umar Namadi members of the State Executive Council, traditional rulers, and all residents of Jigawa State on this historic anniversary.
“From humble beginning in 1991, Jigawa State has grown into a model of resilience, agricultural productivity, educational advancement, and peaceful coexistence. This progress is a testament to the vision of our founding fathers, the commitment of successive administrations, and the hard work of the good people of Jigawa,” Mallam Ibrahim said.
He further explained that the past 35 years have witnessed significant strides in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, youth empowerment, and social development across the 27 Local Government Areas of the state.
Malam Ahmed Tijjani urged citizens to use the occasion to reflect on our shared values of unity, tolerance, patriotism, and selfless service that have kept Jigawa peaceful and united.
He also called on the people to continue to support government policies and programmes aimed at sustainable development and poverty reduction.
“As we celebrate 35 years, let us renew our commitment to building the Jigawa of our dreams, a state where peace reigns, opportunities abound, and every citizen thrives. NOA Jigawa remains committed to promoting national values and mobilizing citizens for nation-building,” he added.
Mallam Ibrahim prayed for continued peace, prosperity, and progress in Jigawa State, and for Nigeria at large.
