In Jigawa state, muslims in Dutse gathered in large numbers to observe the two raka at Eid-el-Fitr prayer, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The prayer, led by the Chief Imam, Dr. Abubakar Muhammad Sani Birnin kudu, was a moment of great spiritual significance, with the faithful coming together to celebrate the occasion and seek Allah’s blessings.

The two raka’at congregational prayer attended by various personalities was observed according to the teaching of Islam.
Chief Imam of Dutse Central mosque Dr. Abubakar Sani Birnin kudu stressed the importance of unity, love, and compassion among Muslims.
He urged muslims especially the youths to shun vices such as the misuse of social media and to worship Allah alone.
Dr. Birnin kudu therefore advised Muslims ummah to remain supportive and prayerful to their leaders.
In his goodwill message, Governor Umar Namadi emphasized the need for continued prayers and unity among Muslims,noting that this was essential for the progress and growth of the state.
Namadi also called on the people of the state to use the occasion to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity in the state and the country at large.
Radio Nigeria reports that, Eid prayer was conducted peacefully across the state with with various security agencies providing adequate security to the people.
