The Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) has deployed 1,000 personnel across strategic locations in preparation for the upcoming Eid-el-Fitr (Sallah) celebrations.

The deployment aims to ensure the free flow of traffic and maintain order during the festive period.

Officers will be stationed at key areas, including Eid prayer grounds, major roads, and recreational centers where large gatherings are expected.

The Managing Director of KAROTA, Faisal Mahmud Kabir, emphasized the agency’s commitment to safeguarding road users and minimizing congestion during the celebrations.

He urged motorists to cooperate with traffic officials and strictly adhere to traffic regulations to guarantee a smooth and incident-free Sallah.
