All the one thousand six hundred and three Ulama’s posted to the thirty six states of Nigeria and Abuja, some African countries and Europe by the JIBWIS Jos, for this years tafsir have been directed to intermittently offer special prayers for Nigeria, during the tafsir.
JIBWIS National Chairman Council of Ulama, Ash Sheikh Muhammad Sani Yahaya Jingir, gave the directive at the opening of this year’s tafsir held at Malam Ladan house, Emirs Palace road Minna, Niger state.
Represented by Dr Aliyu Ibrahim Shafi’i from Misau Local Government Council of Bauchi state posted to conduct this years Tafsir, the JIBWIS National Chairman also appealed to Muslims in the country to use the period of Ramadan fast to offer prayers for peace and development of Northern region and Nigeria at large.
Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir would also wants Muslims to rededicate themselves to the worship of Allah, in addition to assisting those in need to attract the reward and blessings of Allah, and fast track it’s acceptance.
In his remarks the Chairman tafsir committee, Alh Ibrahim Dumus thanked all that have contributed to the success of the annual tafsir, and called for more to succeed.
While the Chief Host, Alh Haruna Musa, who cautioned those trying to destroy Nigeria to have a rethink, also stressed the need for prayers that would helped to protect the North and Nigeria in general as well as for Nigerian leaders to lead with the fear of Allah.
