Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has commended Governor Umar Namadi for nominating HRH Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Hamim Muhammadu Sanusi to lead the 2026 pilgrims to the kingdom Saudi Arabia.

This is contained In a statement made available to newsmen in Dutse by the Public Relations Officer of the board, Alhaji Habibu Yusuf Adamu.

He explained that, the Director General of the board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar labbo, explained that the nomination was well deserved, considering the Emir’s dedication to religion and his role as a great community leader in Jigawa State.

Ahmed Labbo emphasized that the 2026 Amirul hajj, possesses the necessary religious knowledge to lead the state delegation.

He pledged to work closely with the Amirul Hajj and would seek his advice as a community leader on all matters arising during the operations.

The DG, on behalf of the staff of the board, extended a congratulatory message to the Amirul Hajj, affirming the commitment of his staff to collaboration.
