Poor environmental hygiene has been described as a major contributor to health problems in communities.

The Chairman of Birnin Kudu Local Government, Dr. Builder Muhammad Uba, stated this during the monthly sanitation exercise held in Birnin Kudu.

has once again demonstrated his commitment to environmental cleanliness by attending the end of the month sanitation exercise. The exercise, which is scheduled to take place every last Saturday of the month, saw the participation of various stakeholders and community members.

Dr. Muhammad Uba who was present at the exercise, emphasized the importance of environmental cleanliness and urged people of the area to always clean their environment.

He stressed that it is the responsibility of everyone to ensure a clean and healthy environment.

He also assured the community of his administration’s continued support for initiatives aimed at promoting environmental cleanliness and sanitation.

Builder also urged residents to take ownership of their surroundings and work towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment in Birnin Kudu.

Radio Nigeria reports that, the monthly sanitation exercise was conducted at public spaces, markets, and residential areas, with participants calling on stakeholders to emulate the Chairman’s exemplary leadership and prioritize environmental cleanliness.
