Governor Abdullahi Sule of nasarawa state has signed into law the state 2026 budget of N545.2bn passed by the state assembly.
The Governor signed the 2026 budget into law in a brief ceremony that took place at conference hall of government house in lafia, the state capital.

Governor Abdullahi Sule while signing the budget tagged “Budget of Strategic Consolidation” commended the speaker and members of the state house of assembly for speedy passage of the state document.
He appreciated the synergy between the executive and the legislative arms calling for its sustenance reassuring that with the signing of the budget the state will witness more people’s oriented projects, programs and policies.

The Governor promised effective implementation of the budget and strict adherence to the budgetary provisions and used the occasion to call on stakeholders to contribute their best in realization of the dreams of the state founding fathers.
The speaker of the house Dr. Danladi Jatau described the day as significant in the history of the state and reassured of the commitment of the house under his watch to continue to champion things that will be of benefit to the state and his people.
The speaker called for more enhanced synergy and support among arms of government for the betterment of the state and its people.
Earlier, the state commissioner for budget and economic planning Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi gave an overview of the budget and its breakdown.
