Beyond Barracks Project has congratulated retired naval officer, Commander Yilchini Jan Bida (Rtd), on his conferment with the chieftaincy title Malam Bit (The Rising Star) of Wuseli Community in Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The congratulatory message, signed by the Executive Director of the Beyond Barracks Project, Mohammed Thompson and made available to journalists in Kaduna.

Beyond Barracks Project wishes the retired officer continued strength, wisdom, and greater impact in his service to humanity.

The organisation commended Commander Bida for being a worthy ambassador of the Armed Forces, noting that his conduct continues to inspire young people and set a positive example for both serving and retired personnel.

According to the organisation, the honour is a recognition of Commander Bida’s selfless service to the nation, his enduring generosity to humanity, and his unwavering commitment to community development.

It added that his distinguished military career and continued contributions after retirement exemplify leadership, integrity, and patriotism.
