The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has officially received his membership card of the All Progressives Congress (APC), formally confirming his registration into the party.

The APC membership card was presented to the Governor by the Chairman of the APC Hospital Ward in Wukari Local Government Area, Hon. Umaru Tanko, at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo.

Speaking after receiving the card in his office, Governor Kefas stated that his registration had formally validated his status as a member of the APC, thereby enabling him to fully participate in all party activities.

He maintained that the previously postponed official defection ceremony would be rescheduled and held in the near future.

While presenting the card, Hon. Umaru Tanko described the Governor as a bona fide member of the APC and expressed the party’s delight in officially welcoming him into its fold.

Also speaking at the event, the State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Barrister Zainab Usman Jalingo, affirmed that Governor Kefas is now a complete and recognized member of the APC in Taraba State.

With his formal registration into the APC, Governor Kefas is now eligible to participate fully in all party activities, having assumed leadership of the party in the state.
