District Head of Bodai under Denge Shuni LGA of Sokoto State Alhaji Muhammad Gamau, has on behalf of the people of the area has commended the Sokoto state governor, Dr. Ahmed Aliyu over the developmental projects executed by APC led administration in the state.
The traditional leader who stated this while receiving officials of Denge Shuni Local government councils and a team of Journalists working in Sokoto state who paid him homage at his palace.
The Journalists led by the council chairman, Comrade Usman Mohammed Binji, were in the local government to assess projects as part of local and state government projects monitoring exercise embarked upon by the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ Sokoto state council.
He said apart from the renovation of Jumu’at mosques, there were other numerous developmental projects which have direct bearing to people of the area, executed by the current administration in the state.
Earlier, the chairman of the local government council, Alhaji Aminu Magaji Bodai, told the monarch that the NUJ team were in the area to monitor projects executed by the local and state governments in Denge Shuni local government.
The chairman said Denge Shuni remains indebted to the present administration in the state, citing the numerous projects executed in the Local council.
Similarly, the media team also visited Bodinga Local Government Area where the state government is currently constructing state of the art onions and grains market at different locations in the town.
Speaking to newsmen at the end of the tour, the chairman of the Bodinga Local Government, Alhaji Muhammad Shehu Dingyadi said the projects also included roads and renovations of schools and hospitals.
