Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Zamfara State Chapter, has commended Governor Dauda Lawal for approving the reinstatement of 103 teachers earlier dismissed teachers from service due to administrative errors uncovered during the state’s civil service verification exercise.
The commendation was contained in a statement by the PDP Publicity Secretary in the state, Halliru Andi.
The party described the Governor’s decision, announced by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mallam Wadatau Madawaki, as a reflection of his compassion, fairness, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of civil servants and the revitalization of the education sector in Zamfara State.
According to the statement, the Governor’s directive was not only reinstates the affected teachers but also approved the payment of their outstanding salaries from January to July 2025.
The PDP noted that the gesture demonstrates Governor Lawal’s people-oriented leadership and concern for justice and accountability in governance.
The party further stated that, the move reaffirms the Governor’s determination to restore integrity, discipline, and efficiency in the state’s workforce while ensuring equal opportunities for all.
The party urged the reinstated teachers to justify the government’s confidence by rededicating themselves to their duties and contributing to the administration’s transformation agenda.
While commending the Governor’s continuous reforms in the education sector, the party, under the leadership of Dr. Jamilu Jibo Magayaki pledged its continued support for efforts to reposition Zamfara State for progress, peace, and prosperity.
