NIGER STATE GOVERNOR, MOHAMMED UMAR BAGO

Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger State has dissolved his cabinet.

In a statement issued to newsmen in Minna, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, said the announcement was made during the State Executive Council meeting at the Council Chamber.

Governor Bago thanked members of the cabinet for their contributions to the development of Niger State and wished them success in their future endeavours.

He, however, noted that the Secretary to the State Government, the Chief of Staff, the Deputy Chief of Staff (Government House), and other principal officers in his office will retain their positions.
