Kano state government has re-affirmed it’s commitment to stimulate and consolidate human capital and economic growth.

Commissioner of Budget and Economic planning Honorable Musa Sulaiman Shanono stated this at a  Workshop on the development of 2026-2028 medium term expenditure framework held in kaduna.

According to him, the workshop is aimed at enhancing the stakeholders understanding about the budget process and review the states budget performance within the period under review.

Musa Sulaiman Shanono explained that the benefits are to improve fiscal discipline, enhance transparency, accountability and better resource allocation by priotizing spending based on policy objectives.

He maintained  that the participants were drawn across all ministries, departments and agencies from across Kano state.

The Commissioner Commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for providing all the necessary support towards making the workshop a success.

He added that the support given to uplift the workforce of Kano state government and improve workers welfare by the present administration cannot be over emphasized.
