Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has approved the deployment of eight new permanent secretaries and the redeployment of four existing ones to different ministries, departments and agencies.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Dutse by the state head of service, Alhaji Muhammad K Dagaceri explained that, the redeployments include Sagir Muhammad Sani from the Ministry for Basic Education to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning and Muhammad Yusha’u from the ministry of budget and economic planning to the ministry for local government.

He said,Lawan Muhammad Haruna from the ministry of higher education to the local government service commission, Engineer Musa Alhassan Arobade from the ministry of power and energy to the directorate of manpower development and training, under the office of the head of the civil service.

Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri pointed out that, the newly posted permanent secretaries are Garba D. Muhammad to the ministry of higher education, science and technology, Fatima Aliyu Hadejia to the directorate of salary and pension, office of the head of the civil service.

Others include Baffa Abubakar who was posted to the ministry of basic education, Bello Datti to Directorate of special services/council affairs, office of the secretary to the government of Jigawa state, Ibrahim Hassan to ministry of finance, Nasiru Haruna to ministry of power and energy, Umar Isah to Civil Service Commission while Mahmud Isah Ringim to the ministry of commerce and Industries.

The head of service said the posting takes immediate effect.
