Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has described the late Nigerian business icon, Aminu Dantata, as a “phenomenal legend”.
Atiku made the remark during a condolence visit to Dantata’s family at his Kano residence.
Atiku said, “He was a phenomenon. It is very, very difficult to compare him with any legend. Modern Nigerian legend.”
He lauded Dantata’s business acumen, philanthropy, and generosity, noting that he had spent his wealth and goodwill to improve the welfare of ordinary Nigerians.
Atiku also visited Governor Abba Yusuf at the Kano State Government House to extend his condolences to the government and people of the state.
Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude for the visit and showed Atiku the prototype design of ongoing projects and beautification efforts in the state.
