Kaduna State Government has reminded Corps members to foster unity, integration and honesty among diverse ethnic nationalities in the country.

Governor Uba Sani made the call at the Twenty twenty-five Batch ‘A’ Stream two orientation course held at the Temporary orientation camp in Kaduna.

The governor who was represented by Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Rabi Salihu urged corps members to pursue this reality by accepting their host communities as home and contribute positively to its development.

He also reiterated his administration’s commitment to corps welfare and security by assuring an eventual return of the orientation camp to a bigger, better and more secure permanent site.

The Governor further called on corps employers to accept corps members posted to them.

In her welcome address, State Coordinator of the scheme, Mrs Efeke Murna Dadaza advised corps members to embrace their posting in good faith and respect the culture and traditions of their host communities.

She buttress the need to utilize the skills learned from the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development SAED programme of the scheme to make them self reliant.

She once again assured them of government efforts to ensure corps well-being and reward outstanding performance.

The state coordinator emphasized that corps members must continue to obey the rules of the scheme throughout the service year.

Corps members have been posted to their various places of primary assignment to commence the compulsory one year service to the nation.
