Kaduna State government has called on Corps members to remain vigilant and prioritize security measures, as they depart the orientation camp for their places of primary assignment.
Governor Uba Sani made the call at the Twenty twenty-five Batch ‘A’ Stream One Orientation Course held at the NYSC temporary camp in Kaduna.
The governor who was represented by Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Rabi Salihu confirmed that his administration would continue to uphold the welfare and security of Corps members posted to Kaduna State.
He further encouraged them to respect the culture and traditions of their host communities and urged employers not to reject corps members posted to their organizations.
While declaring the orientation exercise closed, the Governor wished corps members safe journey and a successful service year.
State Coordinator of the scheme, Mrs. Efeke Murna Dadaza urged corps members to accept their postings in good faith and contribute positively to the development of host communities through community development services (CDS).
She also reminded them to make use and perfect the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training learned in camp to become self-reliant and self-employed subsequently in life.
Corps members have been posted to various primary places of assignment to commence the compulsory one year service to the country.
