The Chairman Niger State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria-CAN, Most Reverend Bulus Dauwa Yohanna has urged Muslims faithful to sustain the unity and peace that have existed across the state and Nigeria to achieve greatness.
While explaining that the teachings of Quran and Hadith, centered on peace, discipline, and humility, the CAN Chairman who is also the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese called on them to use the period to pray for enduring peace in Nigeria and Niger State in particular.
In a message through his Media Aide, Daniel Atori, Bishop Yohanna congratulated the Muslim Ummah across the country and the Niger state Governor Mohammed Umar Bago on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
According to the Clergy man “I congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters across the state, especially our Governor for a successful Ramadan fast and I commend your show of love, arms giving to the less privileged persons and the peaceful co-existence with people of other religions”.
The CAN Chairman therefore pray to Allah to grant Governor Umar Bago and leaders at all levels of governance the grace to continue to serve humanity selflessly for the attainment of the much needed growth and development.
