Jigawa State Government has donated two Toyota Hilux vehicles and twelve motorcycles to the Jigawa State Police Command, 26 Armoured Brigade Nigeria Army, and the Nigeria Immigration Service as part of efforts to strengthen security in the state.

During the handover ceremony, the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, emphasized the government’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Council Affairs/Special Service, Alhaji Abba Muhammad, assured that the administration would continue to support security agencies in maintaining Jigawa’s reputation as one of Nigeria’s most peaceful states.

Receiving the vehicles on behalf of their respective agencies, DC Tijjani Murtala of the Police Command and Colonel D. Yakubu of the 26 Armoured Brigade, Dutse, expressed gratitude for the donation.

Office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State in a statement says the Security agencies  pledged to use the resources effectively to enhance security operations across the state.

He explained that the donation reflects the state government’s proactive approach to security collaboration with law enforcement agencies. The event was attended by top government officials, including Director of Special Services, Salisu Yau Taura.
