The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, has arrived in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, for a one-day working visit to the Headquarters of the 207 Quick Response Group (QRG) of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).
This marks Air Marshal Abubakar’s first official visit to Zamfara since his appointment as Chief of the Air Staff.
Upon arrival, he was received by senior military officers, including the Theatre Commander of Operation Fansan Yamma, Major General Oluyinka Soyele.
He then proceeded to inspect a quarter guard mounted by troops of the 207 Quick Response Group.
During his visit, the air chief is also expected to meet with Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal at the Government House in Gusau.
Accompanied by senior officers from various NAF formations.
