Jigawa state branch of the Nigeria Union of Road Transport Workers-NURTW has applauded the achievements recorded by the state government on Road network.
The Chairman of the Union, Alhaji Salisu Muhammad Maigatari stated this when he led executives members of the Union on a courtesy visit to Governor Umar Namadi in his office at the government house Dutse.
Alhaji Salisu Maigatari explained that, the union is highly impressed with the ongoing construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of roads and bridges across the state aimed at improving transportation activities.
According to him, they were at the Government House to reassure their support and cooperation to the state government for appreciating the laudable achievements recorded so far by Governor Namadi.
Responding, Governor Umar Namadi expressed gratitude to the leadership of the union for identifying with the development recorded in various field of human endeavor.
Malam Umar Namadi therefore reiterate the state government’s readiness to continued support and assistance to the Union.
