Jigawa State government has commended Nigerians residing in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia for contributing immensely to the health services for people of the state.

Governor Umar Namadi stated this when he visited Dutse General Hospital to inspect the ongoing free eye services surgery sponsored by the Nigerians Diaspora in collaboration with the state government.

Malam Umar Namadi who went round wards in the hospital, said he was highly impressed with the number of people that benefited from the free eye services.

The beneficiaries were selected across the twenty seven Local Government areas of the state.

Radio Nigerian reports that, the beneficiaries include five hundred for cataract surgery, three hundred people received medicated glasses and four hundred have also been treated with medications.
