Kwara State Government Task Force has cautioned filling stations owners in Ilorin metropolis against hoarding of fuel which imposes needless hardship on the masses.

In a statement by the Deputy Chief press secretary to governor AbdulRazq ,Mashood Agboola said the raid on filling stations was part of the government’s measures to address fuel scarcity in the state.

The statement said the committee set up by the state governor to see to the problem of fuel shortage.

The statement explained that as a responsible and responsive government the administration can cannot fold hands watching.

The statement called on residents of the state to be patient and avoid panic-buying.
