The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has put in place measures to officially commence the implementation of the backend computation project of Pensioners in some Agencies.
A statement from the Directorate indicated that the backend project was initiated to validate the detailed records of Pensioners captured during the 2019 nationwide field verification exercise
It is also to re-compute the monthly pension of the Pensioners based on their career records, relevant salary structures and applicable Pension increments.
The statement added that the backend project would resolve issues of overpayment and complaints of underpayment.
