Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state has called on the electorates to be orderly while exercising their civic rights of electing new leaders.

The governor made the call at his home town Maradun shortly after casting his vote at Dan Buga – Buga Danfili polling unit 012..

Bello Mawalle commended INEC for bringing some strategies aimed at bringing changes in order to have a free, fair and credible elections in 2023.

Governor Bello Matawalle was together with his wife Hajiya Balkisu Bello Matawalle who also cast her vote at the same polling unit,

Similarly, the senator elect and former governor of the state ,Ahajj Abdulaziz Yari has casted his vote at his polling unit together with his family members.

He called on eligible voters to exercise patience and avoid any act capable of tarnishing their image or disrupt the election exercise.

In some local government areas visited by Radio Nigeria correspondent in Zamfara reports that, accreditation and election commenced on time especially at Abubakar Tunau Primary School 001 Polling unit and Yar Kurnar Dogon Gawo 002 as well as Uban Dawaki 003 Polling unit all in Galadima ward.

Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC were also seen in some areas monitoring the conduct of the exercise.
