The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Saad Abubakar has directed the Muslims ummah in the country to start looking for the new crescent of Rajab 1444 AH tomorrow Sunday the 29th day of Jumada Assani 1444 AF, equivalent to 22th of January 2023.
In a statement signed by the chairman advisory committee on religious affairs, Sultanate council Sokoto state, Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest village or district head for onward communication to the Sultan of Sokoto.
