Chairman of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) Zamfara State chapter, Alhaji Ahmad Sani Kaura, PhD is dead.
Late Ahmad Kaura, 62, who slumped and died during dialogue session organized by Islamic clerics under the of auspices of Nigeria council of Ulama Zamfara State Chapter who summoned major political parties for peace accord.
According to Malam Faruku Khalifa who was with chairman during the meeting, late Ahmad Sani Kaura preached peace and tolerance to each other during the session, saying “Allah has planned who to became the next governor, so we should not be intimidating our fellow humans for what will perish and leave us together “.
He noted that, few minutes after the late Ahmad’s remark, he slumped while sitting on a chair, they noticed his abnormal posture and quickly rush him to a nearby medical facility where he was confirmed dead.
Abdullahi Ahmad son of the deceased and the most closest person to him said the late PDP Chairman was a father and mentor who dedicated his life to service to humanity and bring their family together in unity, saying he died at 62 leaving behind six children (3 males and 3 females).
Among the prominent personalities who attended the funeral Prayer at Kaura Namoda include, Emir of Kaura Namoda, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha, Secretary of the PDP, Ahmad Zangina, Zamfara State Commissioner of Justice, Junaidu Aminu among other top PDP stalwarts and government officials.
