Jigawa State Government has opened tender for the construction, renovation and completion of Friday and daily prayer mosques across 30 constituency in the State.

Declaring the bid open, the Chairman Ministerial tender committee, office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State who is also the Permanent Secretary, Administration and Finance SSG’s office, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, said the bid  was for 2022 constituency projects.

According to him, other projects to be awarded include renovation and construction of District Head Houses, construction of graveyard wall fencing, purchase of Generators, installation of solar street light among others.

The Permanent Secretary, urged the technical committee of the tender to be fair and just in the process of selecting the contractors.

Alhaji Muhammad K Dagaceri called on the successful contractors to ensure speedy completion of the projects within the stipulated period contained in the contractual agreement.

The representative of the State’s Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau, Ghali Mu’azu, said the process of selecting the contractors would be transparent, fair and just.

Responding on behalf of the bidders, Mallam Bashir Garba, expressed satisfaction with the bid opening process.
