Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has Applauded the zeal and commitment of the National youth service corps in guiding the corps members to Achieve Effective service delivery.
The Emir stated this when he received the Kano state coordinator of the Scheme Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad and her Management Team who paid him a Courtesy Call at his Palace.
He said Kano state was among the peaceful states in the country, hence any corps member posted to the state should be more committed to ensuring that the stated objectives were met.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero noted that the Emirate would continue to accord more support and cooperation to the Scheme aimed at enhancing the services of the Scheme in Kano and the Country at large.
Earlier the NYSC Coordinator in Kano Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammed said they were at the palace to receive Royal Advice and Blessings
The Coordinator Solicited the cooperation of the District Heads in identifying the services needed in the communities so the Corps members would provide the manpower while the Community would provide the needed logistics.
“We are appealing to the emir to accord all the necessary support in ensuring that the NYSC Trust Fund which has scaled second reading at the federal House of Representatives to see the light of the day.
Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad reassured the Commitment of the corps members in providing more Community development programmes at rural and urban centers across the state , geared towards achieving the stated Goals.
