Respect Each Other’s Political Opinion, Walin Kauru Advises Youths

National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Kauru Local Government Chapter of Kaduna State has urged the youths to make use of the ongoing voter registration to register en mass toward securing their future in the next political dispensation.

The Coordinator of the Chapter Walin Kauru, Malam Kabiru Ibrahim in a statement in Kaduna says the continuous voter registration exercise ends in June as such, anyone who fails to register will have to wait until after the 2023 General elections.

Walin Kauru emphasised the need for youths in kauru to shun electoral thuggery and those politicians who have been using them for personal reasons and not engaging in meaningful ventures.

He also cautioned them to avoid using social media platforms for blackmail, adding that whether its politics, people have different views and respecting each other’s opinions is important for maintaining peace.

According to him, “Even if you don’t agree with someone’s opinion, at least agree with their right to have it, no one should be discriminated against their beliefs”.

The coordinator tasked the youths to redouble prayers this month of Ramadan saying the essence of the period was more significant to seek a solution and divine guidance out of the challenges facing the state and the nation at large.
