SHEIKH DAUDA LOKON MAKERA

Muslims have been advised to extend good gestures to the needy during the month of Ramadan.

A renowned Islamic scholar in Kano state, Sheikh Dauda Lokon Makera disclosed this during an exclusive interview with Khadija Aliyu of Radio Nigeria in kano.

According to Sheik Dauda, Ramadan is a month of blessings and good deeds while advising wealthy individuals to expedite actions towards extending good deeds to the needy especially giving out food items and other daily needs.

” There’s a huge difference between feeding during the month of Ramadan and other months. Ramadan is a month of blessing as the Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him” Sheik Dauda lokon added

The Islamic scholar charged Nigerians to intensify prayers for lasting peace and security in the country.

He attributed poverty and other societal vices to insecurity as such there was an urgent need for the government and other relevant stakeholders to do everything possible to curtail the menace.

Sheikh Dauda called on the general public to be more vigilant and security conscious by reporting any suspected person or character to relevant authorities.

“Am calling on the government and relevant stakeholders to bring an end to insecurity as it is one of the catalysts to poverty and other societal problems”

The scholar advised youths to be good ambassadors by dedicating themselves to their studies and shunning any act capable of tarnishing their image.
