The Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr Kayode Alabi, has urged Christians to live an exemplary life that mirrors the virtues of Jesus Christ.

The Deputy governor made the call while speaking with Journalists during the annual Palm Sunday rally which precedes Easter held in Ilorin.

He congratulated Christians on Palm Sunday, which he said was symbolic to Christians.

Mr Alabi advised Christians to partake in electoral processes by getting registered and turn out en mass to vote at the 2023 polls.

He also appealed to the Christians not to relent in praying for Kwara state and Nigeria.

In his speech, the acting Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Kwara State Chapter, Rt. Reverend Sunday Adewole expressed appreciation to God, adding that the Palm Sunday rally has not been held in the last two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic, among other reasons.
