Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command CP Ayuba Elkanah has visited Tsafe town to commiserate with families of those who lost their lives as a result of bandits attack .

CP Elkhana also assessed the existing security emplacement of the area with a view to deploy additional re-enforcement that would forestall future attack in Tsafe and its environ.

Elkhana also condoled the Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, DIG Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe retired and families of other victims that lost their three sons in the attack.

Recall that, on sunday night while people were observing Isha’i Prayers in Tsafe town, Suspected Armed Bandits on motorbikes came from Eastern outskirt of the town, shooting sporadically, killed four and injured many.

In a related development, the state Government delegation has commiserated with the people of Tsafe town over the unfortunate invasion by armed bandits in the town.

The State Government delegation led by the Deputy Governor, Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau paid a visit to families of those affected by the incidence.

Speaking, Governor Bello Matawalle through his Deputy Senator Hassan Nasiha expressed dismay over the dastardly act by the unknown miscreants who he said had no element of value for human lives.

Governor Matawalle condemned the attack and assured the people of the area of Government’s commitment to bring the culprits to book

Responding on behalf of the families, the State Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs Mamman Tsafe, thanked the State Governor for the heartfelt concern over the misfortune that befell the families.

DIG Mamman Tsafe and Alhaji Haruna Salau prayed for sustainable peace and security in the state and country in general
