Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has assured women of considerable political representation in the forthcoming general elections.
Saraki gave the assurance when he received delegation of women groups at his residence in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
According to him, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has put in place mechanisms to ensure inclusiveness.
Saraki said the party will ensure fairness, equity and justice in selecting candidates.
He urged the women to remain steadfast and unrelenting.
Dr. Saraki also advised the women to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration exercise to register.
