Jigawa state government says it has spent over 700 million naira in the execution of capital projects in the college of remedial and advanced studies JICORAS in Babura local government area of the state.

The Rector of the Institution, Dr Hussain Shehu made this known to newsmen in Dutse, the state capital.

According to him, the projects executed include provision of the college permanent site, fencing, construction of administrative block and hostel.

Others also include construction of three point five kilometer road as well as provision of water and electricity.

Dr Hussain Shehu said, the state government has set aside 350 million naira for execution of capital projects in the Institution. 

He pointed out that, the projects to be executed include construction of female hostel, library, staff quarters, solar electricity and accreditation of courses.

The Rector said NITDA is constructing Information technology center which will be converted into JAMB center soon.
