Residents of Kwara state have expressed worry over the lingering fuel scarcity that has affected their daily lives.

When Radio Nigeria went round Ilorin metropolis it was discovered that fuel is being sold between N250 to N400 Naira per litre in black markets at strategic locations.

It was also learnt that fuel is sold late at night in some filling stations at prices ranging from N210 and N250 naira as against N165:00 naira per litre.

However, the NNPC mega stations and affiliates provide succour for the fuel users as they dispense the product at the N165.00 official pump prices, amidst long queues.

A Motorist, Sunday Adetunji, told Radio Nigeria that the fuel scarcity has continued to take its toll on the transport sector as they now experience 100 per cent increase in transport fare as well as other goods and services.
