Nigeria’s governing party, the All Progressives Congress, APC has fixed the 26th of February as the date to hold its National Convention.
The Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Committee, and the Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni disclosed this at the first APC National Women Convention in Abuja.
Governor Mai Mala Buni explained that the APC as a party was the most women-friendly party in Nigeria.
He said APC-led administration through its various social investment programmes had promoted the welfare and well-being of Nigerian women.
The APC National convention was attended by party women leaders across the country, Female Federal and State lawmakers, female cabinet members at the Federal and State level.
