Jigawa state local government service commission has organized a two day workshop on discipline and ethics for  Desk and staff officers of the 27 local government areas in the state.

In his speech, the chairman of the commission, Alhaji Uba Bala Ringim who was represented by the permanent secretary of the commission, Alhaji Abbas Ya’u said the aim of workshop was to make the participants conversant with knowledge on discipline and ethics in their respective local governments. 

Alhaji Uba Bala Ringim urged the participants to use knowledge they acquired by being fair and just in discharging their duties as well as extend the knowledge to their colleagues.

Some of the participants who spoke to Radio Nigeria commended the effort of the commission for organizing the workshop.

They also promised to use what they learned during the workshop in their places of work.
