Gunmen have attacked and abducted some students at the Green Field University located along the Kaduna–Abuja Highway in Chikun Local Government Tuesday night.
Kaduna State Commissioner for Security and Internal Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan confirmed the incident while speaking to newsmen in Kaduna.
Eyewitnesses said the gunmen stormed the university and started shooting sporadically, before taking some of the students away.
Kaduna has been facing series of attacks by bandits and unknown gunmen.
Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka in Igabi Local Government of the state was among the schools affected.
