Zamfara State National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal has adjourned to the sixteen of this month.
At its inaugral sitting in Kaduna, Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Bukunola Adebiyi said this was to enable parties comlpy with all pre-trial conference rules.
She urged the parties to ensure speedy resolutions of preliminary issues to enable the Tribunal complete its mandate within the stipulated time.
In his submission, Counsel to the Petitioner, Mr. Mahmud Majagi explained that his client amd the All Progressive Congress were dissatisfied with the conduct of the by-election into the Bakura House of Assembly constituency in Zamfara State.
On his part, Counsel to the respondents, Mr. Benson Igbanoi expressed confidence that the petition would be struck out for lack of merit.
