Bilyaminu Usman Polytechnic Hadejia in Jigawa State has received 126 million naira out of 182 million naira budgeted as its capital project last year.

The Rector of the Institution, Professor Zilkiflu Abdu made this known in an interview with newsmen in Dutse.

He explained that the state government had received 99 million naira for construction of a modern library in which 62 million naira was bieng disbursed to contractor handling the project.

Professor Zilkiflu further said the state government was currently constructing classroom and laboratories adding that 60 million naira had been given to the contractor to enable him complete the project on schedule.

According to him, a number of students hostels and classrooms were rehabilitated to provide good atmosphere of teaching and learning in the Polytechnic.
