#OccupyLekkiTollgate is the number one trending topic on Nigerian Twitter as some Nigerians are planning another protest over the reopening of the Lekki tollgate.

Recall that on Saturday, February 6, the Justice Doris Okwuobi-led Judicial panel in Lagos state granted permission to the Lekki Concession Company to take over the Lekki tollgates that have been shut down since the October 20 gunshot incidence. The decision came as a shock to many Nigerians as the case was still ongoing.

Some celebrities have openly kicked against the reopening of the tollgates.

On Monday morning, February 8, Nigerians using the hashtag of #OccupyLekkiTollgate have expressed readiness to stage another protest over the reopening of the tollgates.
