Commander General of the Kano state hisbah board, Sheikh Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina has decried the rising cases of domestic violence.

He stated this while briefing newsmen in his office

The Commander General explained that the agency had received high number of domestic violence between couples

Ibn Sina explained that most of the women involved were battered beyond recognition as such, there was need for security agencies and relevant stakeholders to work together to end the menace.

He maintained that marriage counseling and sensitization campaigns were ways of curtailing domestic violence

Ibn Sina urged couples and the general public to adopt alternative dispute resolutions.

The commander general further called on the public to abide by covid 19 protocols to curtail the spread of the virus.
