Kaduna State House of Assembly Adhoc Committee on Health has appreciated the effort of the state Ministry of Health on preventive measures put in place to avoid the spread of corona virus.
Chairman of the Committee, Alhaji Sulaiman Ibrahim Dabo stated this shortly after a meeting with the Commissioner of Health on the steps taking against the virus.
According to Alhaji Sulaiman Dabo, the essence of the meeting was to ascertain the level of awareness on the dangers of coronavirus especially at the grass root level.
The chairman explained that the committee will soon embark on oversight visit to the ministry to see the activities.
Responding, State Commissioner for Health, Hajia Amina Mohammed Baloni said no case of COVID-19 recorded across the state.
She added that the ministry engaged religious, traditional leaders and relevant stakeholders on how to avoid the spread of the disease.
