Armed Forces Commitment Keeps The Nation- AbdulRazaq

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says the commitment and loyalty of the Nigerian Armed Forces has contributed grately in the maintenance of corporate existence of the country.

AbdulRazaq stated this at the Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service to commemorate the Armed Forces Remembrance day and Emblem Appeal week at Mount Olive Anglican Church, Ilorin.

Represented by his Deputy, Kayode Alabi, the Governor said the heroes served the country and offered their lives as a ransom for the preservation of the nation.

The Governor appreciated the effort and sacrifice of the Nigerian Armed Forces in maintaining peace, and security in the state and the country in general.

AbdulRazaq called on the residents to support and cooperate with members of the Nigerian Armed Forces to combat security challenges which undermine the stability of the nation.

In his remarks, The Chairman, of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Kwara State Chapter, Bishop Sunday Adewole, called on Governments to do more in supporting the armed forces.

He urged members of the armed forces to continue to discharge their duties with utmost professionalism.

The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is observed every January 15 in honour of fallen heroes of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
