World Bank Commends CAC As Point Of Excellence In Service Delivery

World Bank has commended the Corporate Affairs Commission CAC as a point of excellence in service delivery as the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) deployed Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) for the Commission.

The Director-General BPSR Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi who stated this during the SAT deployment explained that the World Bank had during a recent engagement with the Bureau validated CAC’s position as a star performer amongst service organizations in the country.

A statement by the CAC’s Media Head, Rasheed Mahe, says BPSR highlighted the benefits attached to the SAT and recalled the Federal Government’s approval for its deployment in Ministries, Departments and Agencies MDA’s. as well as the directive to report the level of compliance every quarter.

“The Bureau revealed that in addition to the CAC Abuja office, it’s offices in Kano, Enugu and Lagos would benefit from the exercise which brings out assessment result by the end of the 1st Quarter, 2022.

“It further stated that the SAT has so far been deployed in about 11 other sister government agencies,” he noted.

The Head said BPSR also applauded the reform initiatives and enjoined the Management and Staff of the Commission to continue to support laudable initiatives of the Registrar-Genersl, Ahaji Garba Abubakar, for the overall growth of the economy.

Responding, the CAC Registrar General, Alhaji Garba Abubakar reaffirmed the Commission’s resolve to submit itself for the assessment to ensure continued improvement in its services.


He said CAC would leverage on the SAT to enhance its performance despite the deployment of both internal and external Quality Management Systems that earned it the NIS ISO 9001: 2015 Certification by the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON).

The Registrar who revealed that the Commission had begun the process of obtaining another SON certification in the Information Security Management System, restated commitment to ensuring continuous improvement of its services to operate at par with its global peers.
