A political association, Taraba South Network Alliance for DDI 2023 in Taraba State has allegedly said that it is fully aware that Ayodele Emmanuel, the Publisher Taraba Truth and Fact Newspaper has joined hands with disgruntled elements in the state to be writing frivolous, false and misleading stories against the State Government on issues that never happened nor existed.
A statement signed and made available to journalists in Jalingo by the Public Relations Officer of Taraba South Network Alliance for DDI 2023, Solomon Audu described Ayodele Emmanuel, as the Publisher of a tabloid and unprofessional online Newspaper.
It recalled that on Wednesday 15th December, 2021, Taraba Truth and Fact published on its front page a news story titled “Govt. Agencies, Parastatals Collapsed under Governor Ishaku”.
“This reminds us of one of histories of the greatest acts of journalism treachery, blackmail and unprofessionalism. The online mere and petty publications by the Publisher, who is a young Yoruba Lagos based hustler, Emmanuel Ayodele was an act of cheap blackmail, avaricious quest for money, figment of self imagination and politically sponsored articles published for cheap monetary gains and ill political motivation.
“Unfortunately for the publisher, this period Tarabans are witnessing rapid rural and urban infrastructural development of the revolution of Governor Darius Ishaku in his quest for the provision of a sustainable portable drinking water, urban roads transformation, building and renovation of classrooms in Primary and Secondary Schools from all the wards across the State.” Said the statement.
The statement also alleged that the traitors of all shades had sought to also use the freelance Taraba Truth and Fact for muck-raking and rabble-rousing, all geared towards garnering personal political gains or advancing political advantages to the detriment of the people of the State.
“The sheer hypocrisy of this stinks to high heavens. We all know them. The mischievous characters know very well that all Parastatals and Agencies are efficient, effective and functioning appropriately within the confine of their jurisdictions in collaboration with all the Ministries.
“It should be noted that nor Parastal neither Agency has collapsed under Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku.
Rather, they are working effectively for the overall development of the State under the committed watch of the Rescue Captain, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku.
“However, we know their intention, which was to mischievously use the name of Civil Servants without mentioning any name of the complainant to cause rancor in the state. Unfortunately for them, they failed woefully.” The statement emphasized.
According to the statement, the association is not surprised at what they called yellow journalism being practiced by the publisher of Taraba Truth and Fact because he is living very far away in Lagos and has no correspondent in Jalingo.
“He (the Publisher) relies solely on his imagination and fantasies, that is why when he wakes up in the morning he cooks out stories that will suit his imagination.” It further alleges.
It so stated that a visit to MDAs will reveal how workers are committed to their daily duties, all aims at contributing their quota to the development of their dear State, adding that the civil servants are been paid their salaries promptly every month since the coming of Governor Darius Ishaku in 2015.
“Our call therefore, to these political gladiators and pugilists is to please allow Governor Darius Ishaku to continue the good work he has been doing for the people of Taraba State since 2015.
“In particular, we urge the Publisher of Taraba Truth and Fact (Ayodele Emmanuel), to retrace his steps from his misguided utterances. His recent publication shows clearly that he is out for mischief against the Government and people of Taraba State.
The statement however, urged the people of Taraba State to continue to give Governor Darius Ishaku maximum support to enable him complete all his projects before the end of his tenure in 2023 for the benefits of everyone, as he means well for all Tarabans.
