Over four thousand women have benefited under the federal government Conditional Cash Transfer CCT Programme in Kubau local government area of Kaduna State.
The Chairman Kubau Local Government Council Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman Zuntu stated this during the presentation of cash to benefiting women in Kubau.
Alhaji Bashir Zuntu explained that the program was aimed at alleviating the hardship of vulnerable women, especially in rural areas.
He expressed satisfaction over the Buhari administration that produced positive changes among Nigerian.
Alhaji Bashir Zunlu stressed the need for beneficiaries to utilize the cash to improve their wellbeing.
The chairman reiterated the council’s commitment to supporting any programs that would improve the socio-economic development of its people.
Also speaking, the CCT desk officer in charge of Kubau local government area, Sulaiman Salisu said each woman received thirty thousand Naira as their six months conditional Cash transfer fund.
Sulaiman Salisu added that beneficiaries include women, physically challenged men and the elderly.
The beneficiaries thanked President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for the program, and promised to utilize the Cash in the right direction.
