Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot prices of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, and Automotive Gas Oil, AGO, also known as diesel.

The refinery reduced the price of petrol from one thousand two hundred and fifteen naira (N1,215) per litre to one thousand one hundred and sixty-five naira (N1,165) per litre, representing a decrease of fifty naira (N50) per litre.

The company also reduced the ex-depot price of diesel from one thousand six hundred and fifty naira (N1,650) per litre to one thousand five hundred and seventy naira (N1,570) per litre, a reduction of eighty naira (N80) per litre.

In a statement, Dangote Petroleum Refinery said the price adjustment reflects its commitment to providing affordable and quality petroleum products, improving energy access and supporting economic activities across Nigeria.

The refinery added that it will continue to leverage operational efficiency to ensure stable supply and deliver value to consumers, businesses and other stakeholders.

It said the move would further support Nigeria’s energy security by reducing dependence on imported refined petroleum products and contributing to the growth of the economy.
