The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, CON.
In a condolence statement signed by its Director-General/CEO, Engr. Abubakar Gambo Umar, FNSE, the Foundation described the late former governor’s passing as a painful loss to his family, Kogi State and the wider public.
The Foundation acknowledged Idris’ contributions to public service and recalled his valued service as a former member of its Board of Trustees.
It extended its heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s family, the Government and people of Kogi State, as well as his colleagues, associates and all those mourning his death.
The Foundation prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
It also prayed for strength, comfort and fortitude for the family and loved ones to bear the loss.
